The Role
The role of an Engineering Group Manager specializing in DriverintheLoop (DiL) toolchains and simulation for motorsport applications is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development maintenance and enhancement of a comprehensive suite of DiL tools ensuring their effective application to maximize vehicle performance on the track. This pivotal role involves setting strategic direction introducing cuttingedge methodologies and fostering best practices in hardware and software development control systems and ComputerAided Engineering (CAE) research and development. The aim is to drive innovation and excellence in all aspects of motorsport engineering contributing significantly to the success of GMs racing endeavors across various series.
What Youll Do

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor of Science in an engineering related field
7 or more years of industry related experience
3 or more years of motorsport experience
Experience with the architecture and performance of NASCAR race vehicles
Previous experience developing MBS model in Dymola/Modelica
Experience with Concurrent or other RT capable hardware and software
Previous software development experience
Previous experience deploying a simulation tool within a race team
Excellent written and verbal skills

Master of Science in an engineering related field
