The IT Product Lead is in a key position in the discovery and delivery of business solutions from information technology. The IT Product Lead through continuous consultation with the functional areas has a deep understanding of business operations and is capable of articulating solutions in business terms and not technical jargon. They are capable of envisioning potential value for new IT solutions. While an IT Product Lead has a deep understanding of specific business areas that expertise is set into a broader context of an understanding of the business processes and technical capabilities that may cross functional boundaries.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
This position reports to the IT Product Team Manager and supports other IT Product Team Specialists. They are responsible for developing and maintaining a trusted business relationship driving the greatest possible business value from ITS investments.
Specific areas of responsibility and influence include:
Leads the SuccessFactors work stream related to but not limited to Employee Central Onboarding Recruitment and Marketing Talent Management Integration Center and API development
Leadership and development of direct reports within responsible delivery team area including resources from managed services partner
Serves as role model and mentor
Oversee daytoday team operation and performance
First point of escalation for team members regarding issues and questions regarding the functional area of the team
Deliver as an individual contributor on projects and backlog assignments while mentoring and leading the team
Monitoring the status of work and identifying and solving problems
Motivate the team to achieve organizational goals
Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence product knowledge and communication skills
Liaison with the solution architects to deliver best solutions and security teams for assessment of new engagements/vendors
Participate in Architecture Review Board review meetings
Consulting with COE teams and provide technical specs to develop customized solutions
Validates unit testing of changes (configuration custom development etc) in development and staging environments including regression testing of functionality that may be impacted by change
Gathers and performs thorough analyses of all the information available
Maintains relationship with business colleagues with excellent communication
Works closely with business colleagues to quickly understand new requirements or problems and then suggest a possible solution
Manages incident and problem management for assigned functional areas and clients groups in support of ongoing operations ensuring compliance with stage gate and internal controls
Manges monthly enhancement cycle process for development steps
Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems Business Administration or related field.
10 years of combined configuration experience in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors with minimum 5 years in SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Minimum two full lifecycle implementation experience
Team leadership experience with ability to motivate others and resolve conflict
Experience in EC Data models and ability to configure
Experience in working with web APIs. Specifically SFAPI SF Odata Querys any SOAP/REST API etc
Experience in configuration of Outbound Interface files from the Integration Center
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
Goal driven action oriented
When needed can say no by offering meaningful alternatives
Understand the drivers of organizational change and interdependencies among all the moving parts
Value Oriented understands technology is a tool with overriding goal of business success
Partners closely with business partners to analyze new projects and readiness for governance decisions and provides transparency of portfolio investments.
More than an order taker they are demand shapers stimulating surfacing and shaping business demand.
Wellgrounded in Service Management represent IT to the business.
Communicate and defend IT policies and standards and understand how IT services benefit the
Active Certifications for Success Factors not required but is a plus.
Consulting firm experience directly working for Big 4 firms supporting enterprise clients
Chemical/Energy industry background is a plus.
Experience with Employee Central Payroll implementation.
Exposure to Agile frameworks SCRUM or KANBAN
The candidate must have the ability to be detail oriented and strong analytical skills.
A Strong sense of positive in natured proactive approach and a solid focus on delivery the results.
