Teaching Assistant KS1 (EHCP Support) / SEN Teaching Assistant SN14

Do you have a passion for helping children achieve their potential My client a welcoming primary school with a caring atmosphere is looking for an inspirational Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. In this rewarding role youll provide targeted support for children with EHCPs working closely with individuals small groups and full classes to make a real difference in their learning journey. This role includes 25 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant in KS1 with 3 hours per week spent working as an MDSA on a fixedterm contract until the end of the academic year.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Provide individualized support for children with EHCPs in KS1 fostering their development in literacy numeracy and social skills.
  • Assist in the planning delivery and evaluation of engaging learning activities.
  • Monitor and encourage pupils progress supporting them to achieve their learning targets.
  • Help implement SEND passports and behavior management strategies.
  • Safeguard pupil welfare assist with supervision and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Calm patient and enthusiastic with a commitment to inclusion and helping all children succeed.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils staff and families.
  • Skilled in using initiative and working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Competent in literacy and numeracy with a proactive approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
