Job Description:
STC is potentially seeking a highly motivated Operations Outreach Support engineer to work in coordination with the NOAA Office of Space Commerce (OSC) operations staff as the primary mechanism to engage with the user community on the upcoming Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS).
Specific duties will include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and collaborate with OSC operations personnel in engaging the TraCSS user community Space Situational Awareness (SSA) data and service providers and satellite owneroperators.
- Facilitate registration and use of the TraCSS system.
- Gather feedback on TraCSS support to improve the provision of basic safety services to meet user community needs.
- Engage with government and commercial stakeholder organizations and agencies regarding operational issues data requirements organizational responsibilities etc.
Requirements
510 years of experience/knowledge in user engagement for operational and/or commercial systems and services data management and/or information systems user support. Proficient in communications with diverse set of stakeholders. Prefer experience in satellite operations space situational awareness (SSA) space traffic coordination (STC) or space traffic management (STM) related topics.
Education:
Bachelors Degree or higher in Information Systems Computer Science Aerospace Engineering Physical Sciences or related field.
