This is an entrylevel plant production position. If hired the employee will receive training in multiple positions in an effort to support plant operations.
Pay Range: $23.48 $24.98
- Provide safe and efficient production support which may include: handstacking case packing housekeeping product conveying and reclaim.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in detail without deviation.
- Setup packaging coders validate product codes in accordance with code specifications.
- Identify and effectively communicate any outofspecification product conditions. Follow the established notification protocol.
- Perform routine equipment adjustments. Use of various hand tools.
- Safe operation of a lift truck moving materials throughout shift as needed/required.
- Accurately and neatly complete production records and documents.
- Assist with equipment changeovers CIP/SIP cleanup and equipment setup.
- Perform department environmental controls.
- Perform product reclaim and rework operations.
- Perform product packaging and stacking operations.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.
- Follow all established GMPs and Food Safety requirements.
- Crosstrain with other departments.
- Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.
- Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics actively apply the Saputo Company Values and Workplace Climate Policy.
- Work together in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel.
- Other duties as required by management.
Job requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or 1)year demonstrated work experience.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing warehousing dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Good math skills.
- Proficient computer skills software and data entry SAP a plus.
- Successful completion of preemployment drug screen andbackground check.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good attendance is a must
Physical Demands
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise changing temperatures (hot wet cold humid) standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
- Fine manipulation and dexterity gripping and squeezing.
- Visual acuity with the ability to see color.
- Working with chemicals wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.

- Ability to multitask and follow instructions.
