Job Description

Title: Sr. Assembly Associate

Location: Moncks Corner South Carolina

Contract Term: 3 Months

Weekly 40.00 hours MonFri

Description:

Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business support technical or production staff in an assigned area to deliver results in Safety Quality Delivery& Cost to achieve plant goals.

Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors Has inhouse knowledge of work processes and tools within own area

Applies expertise to solve standard and nonstandard problems within own area

Functional Competencies Breadth of Technical Knowledge

Demonstrates a strong understanding of the technical offerings within ones own function Advises others on a variety of topics within own functional area; accesses appropriate resources/expertise to obtain technical information as needed Leverages the appropriate resources to provide complex solutions for internal/external customers Building Collaborative Relationships

Gathers support from colleagues and/or other key partners to influence stakeholders as necessary Strives to understand others opinions and build agreement among team members; utilizes others ideas and suggestions to shape solutions Continually expands internal network to include additional key partners; begins to build external networks with key groups Implementation Supports the implementation process leading and/or aligning the efforts of involved parties; forges strong partnerships with appropriate constituencies Delegates tasks to appropriate team members; lends expertise to facilitate effective implementation

Measures performance of the newly implemented solution against desired results and makes basic improvements; demonstrates a strong sense of ownership for outcomes Leading Change Identifies and communicates the need to change; utilizes the change model and knowledge of cultural and diversity implications to help guide team(s) through change Challenges conventional methods and approaches; demonstrates a desire for improvement Educates internal/external customers on changes to facilitate transition and adoption; partners with and utilizes other experts (e.g. Centers of Expertise or external partners) as needed Operational Excellence Tracks resource utilization and ensures that usage complies with budgets and protocols; identifies areas of concern Recognizes unnecessary workflow steps and identifies synergies among processes to improve productivity; eliminates nonvalue added tasks Maintains a strong focus on delivering high quality work; holds self to high quality standards

Qualifications

Associates degree and 2 years related work experience required

Demonstrated success in managing people and leading a team

Strong communication skills required
