Job Summary

This role will be instrumental for building/developing & implementing an automated business transactions tracking management process for customers that use different B2B portals in MEA western region (Saudi Arabia & Bahrain) by using business applications and related business process solutions for Emerson MEA.

The Portal Applications Business Analyst will be responsible for defining scoping and collaborating with various IT teams to develop a Portal Platform that manages data requirements for Emerson customers in Saudi Arabia using procurement portals. This role offers a superb opportunity to work across functions and business units within the region.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Analyze data and data flow requirements for each customer portal coordinating across multiple phases of the software development lifecycleincluding planning requirements definition system design and implementationin collaboration with various IT groups at Emerson.
  • Gain a deep understanding of each customer portal in the MEA Western region mapping Emersons data requirements to these portals. Design an innovative business process flow for each customer portal enabling deployment on the Portal Management Platform to track the realtime status of RFQs orders deliveries goods receipts invoicing overdue payments and final settlements.
  • Assist in the phased testing and deployment of solution(s)around B2B portals management platform.
  • Generate and provide timely and accurate updates of data to all team members including biweekly critical metric on reports to customers and the Emerson Management team.
  • Support any enhancements to the portal management process to meet customer critical metrics
  • Act as a liaison between business users and development teams; bridging requirements and solutions assessing levels of customer satisfaction and confirming expectations
  • Respond to customer requests regarding issues in system and improvements and raise issues if required for faster resolution.
  • Prepare business requirement specifications test plan test scripts for system testing functional testing and implement the plan.

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Bachelors degree or its equivalent experience in Computer Science Information Technology Business or other closely related field
  • 5 7 yrs of experience with Emerson
  • Knowledgeable with Oracle ERP in various modules (SCM Finance Projects et al)
  • Intermediate project management skills and presentation delivery
  • Project Management Methodologies (Waterfall Agile Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Understanding of Business Processes (Quote to Cash)
  • Proficient in analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Basic knowledge of how B2B portals work.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Power platform.
  • Candidate should be open to short term travels to Saudi & UAE as per business needs whenever required.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Candidate with advanced knowledge of various eprocurement portals (like SAP Ariba SAP SCN Jaggaer etc. would be preferred.
  • Candidate with good knowledge ofMicrosoft Power Platform will be preferred.
