About the role
CPBS is seeking a skilled and customerfocused Intake and Referral Officer to join our talented team. If you have experience in the Allied Health sector and a passion for making a positive impact in the community this is the perfect opportunity for you!
As the first point of contact for phone inquiries and referral emails youll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and compassionate referral process. Your professionalism empathy and efficiency will be essential in providing excellent service to our clients.
This rewarding permanent parttime role 4 days per week) is based at our national head office in Manly Brisbane. Youll collaborate with a fastpaced dedicated team and contribute to a meaningful cause.
What youll do
Create a positive experience for our participants and their families as thefirst point of contact.
Deliverexcellent customer service with professional communication.
Respond to intake and referral inquiries promptly and perform general administrative tasks.
Resolve administrative issues both independently and collaboratively.
Liaise with managers practitioners and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Operate our clinical systems and adapt to new ones as required.
Manage and schedule referrals including initiating responding and adding information to relevant platforms.
Prepare documents using Microsoft Office compose letters and emails on behalf of the office team.
Handle sensitive data with confidentiality and professionalism.
Manage multiple projects effectively while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
What youll need
Administrative experience working in the Allied Health space ideally within the NDIS.
Proficiency in stakeholder communications.
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entryin a fastpaced and highvolume environment.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multitask and work autonomously.
Initiative and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Understanding of compliance confidentiality and data management.
