Job Description
Sr. Electrical Engineer Signal Product Manufacturing
A highly rated Company with an Electronics Manufacturing Facility in the area of Matteson and University Park IL area is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Electrical Engineers looking for a company with competitive rates and a good work/home life balance.
Qualified candidates will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experiences:
- 5 or more years of Electrical Engineering Design experience
- Must Develop Layout Concepts Parameters and Designs for New and Updated Product Redesigns.
- Must be able to use calculations and evaluation of alternatives for current product design and their functionality in current product designs.
- Conducts feasibility studies and prepares preliminary cost estimates of designs and redesigns.
- Experience with bid packages be able to create BOMs assist in ordering parts and supplier sourcing of part fabrication or closely related is strongly desired.
- Assists in generating detail specifications of the individual components of the new design and replacement components in end of life and in cost reductions projects.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar coursework is preferred
- Must be able to work in the United States (Green Card and US Citizens only ITAR compliance required).
- Must be able to complete standard prehire checks including background drug screen references etc.
