Summary: Manages day to day restaurant operations effectively and efficiently following the best practices and core values of the company to ensure workplace safety employee satisfaction excellent experiences for our guests and profit maximization.
Direct Report: Assistant General Manager General Manager
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the General Manager.
Manage employees with integrity honesty and knowledge that promote the culture values and brand standards of PJ Clarkes
Champion PJ Clarkes standards of hospitality and experience cultivation
Maintain a safe healthy and secure facility by enforcing Department of Health sanitation standards and procedures complying with health and legal regulations and maintaining security system
Uphold professional restaurant image including restaurant organization and cleanliness proper uniforms and appearance standards
Follow company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including food beverage supply utility and labor costs
Actively engage with guests to solicit feedback and build relationships in the community
Investigate and resolve guest complaints concerning food quality and service with the utmost hospitality
Interviewing hiring training and developing employees by providing ongoing feedback establishing performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews.

Requirements:
34 years related experience and/or training
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening closing weekends and holidays
Reliable transportation
Basic computer literacy skills including use of Outlook Microsoft Word and Excel
Highly motivated compassionate energetic and dependable
Power to inspire and teach hospitality
Excellent listening skills
Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Is responsible for daily direction coordination and evaluation of front of house operations and directly works with the chef team to maintain quality and service standards for the entire PJ Clarkes team. Directly supervises Hosts Servers Runners Bartenders and Barbacks.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
