THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
5 years construction experience specifically within Water and Sewer
Exceptional communication skills written verbal online
Proven success overseeing a team and the ability to lead them to complete projects
Exceptional claims/extras management experience
Demonstrated commitment to your team and the aims and goals of the company
Demonstrated experience in cost savings on project delivery
Demonstrated experience developing customer focused client relationships
Keen sense of foresight and versatility and a track record for creative problem solving
WHATS REQUIRED
- Develop train and grow a new crew to take on projects in other municipalities of the GTA
- Manage lead and control projects from start to finish including staff subcontractors performing staff assignments and job management.
- Interact and collaborate with Sub Contractors PMs/PCs inspectors and clients
- Ensuring proper techniques are utilized to achieve the highest possible workmanship and quality of work
- Ability to plan execute and supervise the maintenance/installation of all Sewer and Water systems
- Inspecting the completed work and initiating timely resolutions if required
- Knowing understanding communicating and ensuring compliance with the safety regulations (H&S Act) and safety policies and procedures in the company policy
- Maintaining a strong work ethic and positive attitude which will motivate the crew to meet goals
- Management of the project ongoing discussion of progress and process
- Train and mentor crew members on construction best practices and procedures
- Create and develop innovate solutions to make processes efficient safer and more productive
