The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextSemiSkilled Automotive Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing fastpaced industry. Located atRiver Oaks HyundaiandRiver Oaks KIAtheSemiSkilledAutomotiveTechnicianwill be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Job Responsibilities:
- Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
- Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
- Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to nonmechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
- Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factorysponsored training classes as appropriate
- Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
- Maintains an organized work area
- Other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
- Automotive Service Technician experience
- ASE certification desirable
- Excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
- 18 years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
