Job Description

We are searching for a Tank Welder.
Essential Functions of the job include (but are not limited to):
- Handles welding and fitting both mild steel and stainless steel welding parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes
- Must be able to utilize both MIG and TIG
- Performs thermal cutting and grinding repairing broken or cracked parts filling holes increasing the size of metal parts
- Order and receive parts and supplies as needed
- Adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification use and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes
- Clean organize and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Ability to wear a respirator
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Possess both welding and fitting skills
- Ability to operate an acetylene torch
- Read and comprehend measurements and job sheets
- Worked in an industrial setting
- High school diploma or GED
- Welding Certificate is a plus but not required
