Job Description
POSITIONSUMMARY:Plays piano accompaniment for show choir rehearsals and performances.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in playing piano accompaniments
- Proficient in sightreading choral parts
- Ability to follow cues from the directors
- Ability to workevenings and weekends
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Professional Performance Criteria
- Accompany vocal music ensembles on the piano for both rehearsals and performances.
- Record accompaniments.
- Regularly practice to ensure accuracy and fluency.
Personal Performance Criteria
- Works well with others maintaining positive and effective communication with school personnel and students.
- Ability to relate to allstudents regardless of needs and/or abilities.
- Contributes to creating a positive learning environment.
- Demonstrates ability to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations.
