Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and costeffective acquisition of goods and services that are essential to our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the endtoend procurement process negotiating contracts and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Your day
- Develop and implement procurement strategies: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements while ensuring the timely delivery of highquality products and services.
- Understand how global strategies affect local markets and build an education and communication process for regional Procurement leads and business units.
- Act as the local expert in the spend categories within scope of responsibility.
- Ensure financial benefits are managed according to the Spend Management Framework with business unit and Finance agreement on financial value delivered and transparency in the budgeting process.
- Create and deliver effective budgets (Plans of Purchase) agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in line with the Spend Management Framework.
- Build strategic relationships with local internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements identify value creation opportunities and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Execute and manage effective contracts with suppliers ensuring global perspectives on supplier negotiations and robust performance management to maximize opportunities and understand supplier performance.
- Data analysis and reporting Analyse procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and provide regular reports to senior management on procurement performance and cost savings.
You will have
- Experience in procurement preferably within the healthcare or consumer goods industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Technical proficiency: Proficiency in procurement software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and SAP.
- A relevant bachelors degree is preferred.
