Job Description

This advanced level position performs preventative maintenance is responsible for daytoday troubleshooting and supports all aspects of natural gas measurement under limited supervision in order to improve production.
- Trains and mentors less experienced technicians
- Performs new meter installations preventative maintenance and field solutions for measurement related problems
- Performs maintenance and operation of flow computers and primary devices
- Maintains required meter calibration and adheres to company standards of documentation
- Performs plate changes and general up keep of the end devices
- Monitors measurement and gas quality at assigned meter sites
- Examines and troubleshoots equipment for defects in operation and proposes best course of action
- Assesses current operations procedures problems or needs and recommends improvements on production
- Analyzes operations to enhance performance reduce lost and improve safety
- Coordinates with the Measurement Department and Production Control as required and provides support for gas volume discrepancies
- Assists in volume recover by providing information
- Oversees project level work and directs contractors as necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Expertknowledge of the maintenance diagnosis and repair of various types of oilfield equipment
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions
- Expertknowledge of electrical systems
- Advanced knowledge of the oil and gas industry
- Expertknowledge of gauges dials or other indicators used to ensure machinery is in proper working order
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Minimum: 8 12 years related work experience
Ability to possess a valid drivers license
