About Achievement Prep
Achievement Prep is collegepreparatory public charter school network located in Southeast Washington DC. We are an elementary school serving scholars in kindergarten through sixtth grade. We also partner with AppleTree Institute to serve preK 3 and preK 4 scholars. Our mission is to prepare students to excel as highachieving scholars and leaders in high school college and beyond.
Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Operations Coordinator is to support and assist in the overall operational efficiency of Achievement Prep. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Operations Manager as well as other members of the Achievement Prep team to maintain systems for all noninstructional activity.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Operational Support
- Manage the inventory and distribution of administrative and classroom supplies and materials
- Assist with classroom and campus technology troubleshoot issues with staff manage inventory
- Oversee daily tasks and facility upkeep through assigned day porter
- Support cafeteria operations as needed
- Assist with any facility setup or organizational design needed to accommodate daytoday activities or outside visitors
- Support campus copy center as needed
Maintenance of School and Organizational Culture
- Fully integrate into the school community and assume additional schoolwide responsibilities to ensure a strong culture
- Collaborate with staff to advance the schools mission and communicate that mission to its constituents
- Adhere to and enforce schoolwide protocols and policies
- Actively pursue professional development opportunities inside and outside of the school
- Assume extracurricular responsibilities if desired

Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with PowerSchool 7.x preferred (e.g. registration enrollment GradeBook)
- Experience in a school setting preferred
