The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Architect to manage projects and mentor a talented team of designers and technologists. This role is ideal for an architect with strong leadership skills and a passion for both design excellence and project delivery. You will work closely with the firms principals and senior leadership in both Vancouver & Montreal to drive projects forward ensuring highquality outcomes that align with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial office and industrial projects from concept through completion ensuring high standards of design and .

• Manage project schedules budgets and resources ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

• Act as the primary client contact building and maintaining strong relationships.

• Oversee the preparation and review of architectural drawings specifications and contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Coordinate with internal teams consultants contractors and regulatory agencies to facilitate seamless project .

• Mentor and guide junior architects and technologists fostering professional growth and maintaining a highperforming team.

• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively ensuring smooth project flow.

• Represent the firm at industry events client meetings and networking opportunities reinforcing their reputation as a trusted architectural partner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field.

• Architect AIBC (or eligibility for registration in BC) required.

• 8 years of experience in architectural project management with a portfolio including commercial and industrial projects.

• Strong ability to lead and manage project teams ensuring highquality design and delivery.

• Excellent communication leadership and client relationship management skills.

• Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and project management tools such as Microsoft Project.

• Strong knowledge of the BC Building Code (BCBC) and Vancouver Building Bylaw (VBBL).

• Experience working through all project phases from design development to construction administration.
