Job Description
POSITION:
The Cameron Student Support Services Program has an opening for 2 Math Tutors in our SSS Math Lab for the upcoming spring semester. Candidates must be available for at least 6 and up to 20 hours per week. The SSS Math Lab is open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00 am 12:00pm on Friday.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should have at least sophomore classification and a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. A minimum of grade of B or better is required in MATH 2215 or a minimum grade of A in MATH 1513 MATH 1413 or STAT 1513. Applicants must attach an unofficial transcript showing proof of completing one of the above courses with the application a letter of interest for this position and a current resume.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A GPA of 3.5 or higher proven excellence in mathbased coursework math or sciences major. Background in statistics. Past tutoring or teaching experience.
