Are you looking to partner with an organization that presents youto consulting opportunities and supports you as a partner
Product Manager / Leader (Contract Hybrid Remote/Onsite Toronto) OnYear Contract with possible extension
Throughongoing product management monitoring and reporting services required to beperformed by the product manager shall include:
- Identifying strategic and operationalrequirements of specific product management environment for IT initiatives.
- Providing ongoing advice on refinementsand enhancements to the organizations product management delivery processes.
- Developing product design criteriaplanning activities business objectives communication and reportingprotocols implementing planning product prioritization and phasingstrategies issues management quality assessment and transition requirements.
- Directing coordinating and monitoringproduct management activities to ensure timely costeffective and highqualitybusiness and customerfocused results
KeyResponsibilities
- Articulate the product vision andproduct strategy so the product team knows why they are undertaking theeffort of building the product and what the plan for doing so is.
- Prioritize features & manage thebacklog So the product team has a shared focus across tactical design anddevelopment work.
- Establish and track against measurableobjectives So the product team knows whether they are on the right path ornot.
- Decide when to ship software Socustomers can experience the benefits of the product as soon as possible andthe product team can continue to gather valuable feedback about how to iterateon the product.
- Continually derisk product direction So the product team only builds the features they should build based onvalidated customer problems and business opportunities and increase thelikelihood that the product will be successful in the market
- Communicate effectively So theproduct team stakeholders and sponsors are all aligned and momentum ismaintained.
Requirements
SpecificDeliverables
- Deliverablesexpected to be produced could include:
- Product vision and road map (now nearand future timeline)
- Product strategy: target audience(endusers) problems youre trying to solve value propositions
- Customer discovery insights throughenduser research activities
- Product features and functions throughproduct management backlog and the authoring of user stories with the businessproduct owner
- Product key performance Indicators(KPIs) or success criteria including a metrics dashboard
- Product decision and directionrationales
- Product wins (success stories)
- Continuous shipping of product featuresto improve upon the minimal viable product produced by the product team throughusercentred design processes and agile (scrum) delivery methodologies
- Product risk mitigation strategies
- Communications to senior managementlevel including executive summaries and product status updates as required.
