Join Our Team as a Mechanical Technician
Location: United States (Travel Required: 50
BHS Robotics a leader in automated manufacturing solutions is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our installation team. In this role you will play a key part in implementing machinery retrofits for our clients corrugated machines. You will train under experienced senior technicians and collaborate with programmers and project managers to ensure seamless installations.
What Youll Do:
Install mechanical pneumatic and electrical components for machine retrofits.
Assemble and fabricate parts for corrugated machinery upgrades.
Travel to customer sites across the U.S. for system installations and startups.
Install electrical boxes conduit motors drives and other automation components.
Work closely with internal teams to meet project deadlines.
Prepare hardware kits for upcoming installations.
Provide excellent customer service while onsite.
Complete expense and field service reports promptly.
What Were Looking For:
Ability to read mechanical designs and electrical schematics.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD viewer software.
Understanding of safety protocols and machine shop practices.
Good driving record (ability to rent a car).
Ability to travel 50 of the time within the U.S.
Welding and machining skills are a plus.
Your Skills & Strengths:
Strong mechanical aptitude with handson experience using tools.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Dedicated work ethic and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for 1012 hours per day during installations.
Regular bending walking and climbing ladders.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity for handling small components.
