We are currently looking for a Senior IT Administrator to join our growing San Mateo team.
Responsibilities:- Implement security measures to protect data and systems collaborating with the security team.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues at level 2 or level 3.
- Assist IT issues in the San Mateo Office
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulations.
- Manage and deploy Macs and PCs using automation processes.
- Handle offboarding/onboarding of all personnel.
- Administer SaaS applications (Okta Google Workspace and Atlassian).
- Manage IT tickets via ClickUp and Jira.
- Perform basic network management (firewalls switches and wireless).
- Manage all MDM devices such as phones monitors and laptops.
- Maintain internal tools and integrations.
- Provide remote/onsite support for all personnel.
- Offer whiteglove concierge service for all staff including Csuites and VPs.
- Maintain strong documentation and communication skills.
- Exhibit a continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest technologies and IT best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in system administration or Senior IT Admin.
- Experience in finance or startup environments.
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac environments.
- Strong knowledge of IT and security best practices.
- Scripting skills for both macOS/Windows.
- MDM experience is a must: Jamf and Intune.
- IAM tool experience is a must: Okta and Google Workspace.
- ITSM ticketing system experience is a must; Atlassian.
- VPN client administration.
- Selfstarter capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Optional or a plus: certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network Jamf Certification Intune Certification or Cisco Certified Network Associate).
Base pay for this role is expected to be between $110500 $152000USD for New York City and San Francisco Bay Area. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus equity and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as location skillset experience and qualifications.
