Job Description

Description

Freedom Real Estate is seeking a Senior Project Manager who manages maintains and oversees all aspects of a construction project from start to finish across multiple Freedom business lines (Development Owner Consulting & Construction).

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all projects are delivered safely ontime and within budget meeting Freedom quality standards.
  • Develop relationships with clients subcontractors and others to create long lasting relationships for future opportunities
  • Develop and maintains the project budgets schedules safety and quality control objectives.
  • Lead project teams through all phases of construction on multiple projects concurrently 3 and types.
  • Assist or lead proposals to secure future work
  • Provide monthly cost and progress reports for internal and external distribution
  • Maintain regular communication of project status.
  • Manage daily project workflow with correspondence RFIs and submittals
  • Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and correct & document any issues
  • Ability to maintain and improve on the Freedom Real Estate & Capital LLCs culture
  • In coordination with the Project Superintendent plan all construction operations and schedule successful completion and determine needed resources (personnel equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • Collaborate with the designer and client throughout the project
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
  • Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
  • Assist the Preconstruction Manager with estimating subcontractor bidding and procurement
  • Review and approve subcontractor/supplier pay applications
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients stakeholders and crossfunctional teams to ensure project success and cultivate longterm partnerships that align with organizational goals.
  • Utilize advanced communication skills to negotiate persuasively deliver executivelevel reports and resolve conflicts effectively while engaging diverse audiences to support project and company objectives.
  • Oversee multiple projects resources and timelines concurrently by applying exceptional organizational and program management skills to ensure timely and successful delivery of outcomes.
  • Align Projects with Strategic Goals: Coordinate construction projects to align with organizational objectives proactively identify industry trends and contribute to companywide strategic planning to drive business growth.
  • Attend afterhours industry events conferences and networking functions to build professional relationships represent the organization and contribute to sales targets by identifying new project opportunities supporting bid proposals and securing contracts.



Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering Building Science or relevant field.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management with a focus on largescale or multiproject portfolios.
  • Proven experience as construction project manager on multiple project types
  • Indepth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards. OSHA 30 training and First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
  • LEED / Sustainability experience is beneficial
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software (i.e. Procore or NewForma)
  • A team player with leadership abilities
  • Possess strong initiative time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated highly effective written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to success dependable responsive proactive high energy positive attitude attention to detail ability to multitask and establish appropriate priorities
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to easily learn new software
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • U.S. Citizen.
