The Marblehead High School JV2 Girls Soccer coach is responsible for leading and motivating a team of high school players to practice regularly compete in games and attend fundraising activities. The coach is expected to teach players various soccer skills and strategies. In addition the coach will promote teamwork sportsmanship and respect commitment integrity and responsibility. Below are the essential qualifications requirements and responsibilities of a JV2 Soccer Coach:QUALIFICATIONKnowledge of Soccer techniques strategy and plays.Excellent communication and people skills.Ability to mentor and motivate athletes providing guidance feedback and support to help them achieve their goalsOrganizational and management skills including the ability to schedule and plan practices and events.Familiarity with soccer rules and safety guidelines.REQUIREMENTSExperience playing and or coaching SoccerLeads by example regarding the promotion of sportsmanshipMust complete all Massachusetts coaching requirements which includes the NFHS Concussion CertificateMust complete Marblehead School District requirements: Fingerprinting CORI Background checkMust complete CPR/AED and First Aid CertificationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSEyehand mindeye coordination physical dexterity and the ability to bend stoop walk talk and sitBe exposed to heat humidity dust rain snow and other weather and adverse environmental conditions.The ability to travel between locationsRESPONSIBILITIESMake practice plans and prepare the team to compete in games.Attend all practices and games including supervising on the bus to and from away games. Communicate the teams practice and game schedule with the team and parents or guardians.
