The Adobe Commerce (Magento) Developer is responsible for the quality integrity scalability resiliency and overall technical performance of the products and services developed on Adobe Commerce (Magento) within their teams assigned product portfolio. This position involves designing developing and managing digital products using Adobe Commerce (Magento). They ensure that the overall technical solution meets business needs and aligns with GoodLifes technology strategies as communicated by the Digital Experience Leadership team. The Adobe Commerce (Magento) developer participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements definition through service delivery and operational support and is responsible for producing highquality solutions and accurate system design documentation.

What will you be doing

• Development and Customization of Adobe Commerce Solutions Develops deploys and supports software solutions based on Adobe Commerce (Magento). Customize high quality Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutions ensuring alignment with business requirements as directed by Product Owners and the Digital Experience leadership team Provides technical guidance in Adobe Commerce (Magento) projects ensuring best practices in development and deployment processes. Acts as a subject matter expert for Adobe Commerce (Magento) within the development team.
• Continuously improves and optimizes the Adobe Commerce environment for performance and scalability. Explore and implement new features and capabilities within Adobe Commerce to enhance the digital experience.
• System Integration and Support Integrates Adobe Commerce (Magento) with other Adobe Cloud services (e.g.: Adobe Experience Manager Adobe Analytics Adobe Target AEP) and thirdparty applications (e.g.: CRM ERP) using APIs and web services.
• Provides ongoing support for Adobe Commerce (Magento) instances including troubleshooting issues monitoring and testing patches/upgrades to ensure systems are secure and running efficiently.
• System Integration and Support Integrates Adobe Commerce (Magento) with other Adobe Cloud services (e.g.: Adobe Experience Manager Adobe Analytics Adobe Target AEP) and thirdparty applications (e.g.: CRM ERP) using APIs and web services.
• Provides ongoing support for Adobe Commerce (Magento) instances including troubleshooting issues monitoring and testing patches/upgrades to ensure systems are secure and running efficiently.

Do you have what it takes

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 2 years of experience working with Magento Open Source and/or Adobe Commerce 2.4 and above)
• Skilled in some of these technologies: PHP Java SQL ReactJS HTML5 SCSS and/or ES6 program languages Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs Frontend tools (HTML CSS JavaScript) Experience with Unit and / or Integration Testing (JUnit)
• Experience and understanding of agile delivery processes as well as leading practices around
• maximizing usability maintainability and scalability
• Problem solving troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles
• Some understanding of API development & design information architectures and microservices.
