Introduction
Applications Design Lead (Financial Services)
Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates.
Location:Pretoria Gauteng / Hybrid
A leading financial services group of good repute requires the services of an Applications Design Lead to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The purpose of this position is to lead a team of developers and design/architect develop maintain and support information technology (IT) solutions to meet business needs within the group. The organisation is currently busy with the implementation of Open Text across the group.
Key Performance Areas:
- Conduct analyses and design/architect quality IT solutions.
- Lead the delivery of quality IT solutions through development integration testing and deployment.
- Ensure total quality of an IT solution by contributing to compiling standards improving processes and ensuring that approved processes and standards are followed.
- Consistently provide IT solution maintenance and support in the designated area.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Essential Experience Qualifications and Skills Required:
- An Honours degree in IT (NQF 8 or an equivalent qualification.
- Development Language Certification.
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in Enterprise Solutions Implementation and Enterprise Content Management.
- Solid knowledge of React/Angular or Java Script Go Lang Python Programming Shell Scripting XML Json and AppWorks.
- Open Text or Full Stack Development knowledge and experience.
