PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Indicate key areas of responsibility major job duties special projects and key objectives for this position. These items should be evaluated throughout the year and included in the written annual evaluation.
Actively participates in plan of action in accordance to workflow needs.
Adheres to policies and procedures for daily operations.
Works with the Magnetic Resonance Supervisor to ensure that the imaging standards are maintained.
Recommends changes to the protocol that would improve the overall quality and care for the patient.
Participates in the quality assurance plan for the Magnetic Resonance program. Participates in the research and development of new exam and protocols.
Enters the appropriate charges into the RIS/HIS (Meditech) accurately for all exams.
Ensures that all exams of high quality and available for interpretation in a timely fashion.
Follows workflow plan developed by the supervisor and alerts the supervisor to problems as necessary to a changing environment.
Monitors the equipment performance and takes the appropriate measures to have the problems resolved (i.e. arrange service/repairs).
Consistently demonstrates effective communication both written and verbal with all departmental hospital staff and vendors.
Performs all other duties as assigned or required to ensure efficient operation of the department and quality patient care.
