Project Manager (Mechanical) PBSA
Location: Wirral with site visits across the UK (overnight stays are expensed)
Package 5560k per annum (Car Allowance 5 Pension salary sacrifice schemes available for EV Vehicles cycles and enhanced contribution on pensions when suitably matched through salary sacrifice25 days 8 bank holidays)
Our client is seeking a Project Manager (Mechanical) to join their Major Projects / BTR division on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead highvalue mechanical building services projects in the 1m10m range with a focus on highrise residential developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Oversee mechanical and plumbing services ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with customers designers contractors and project teams.
Technical Oversight: Review designs specifications and compliance to maintain high standards.
Site Coordination: Conduct regular site visits to inspect installations and ensure best practices.
Commercial & Risk Management: Manage budgets cash flow and subcontractors while mitigating risks.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all contractual obligations safety regulations and industry standards are met.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and plumbing building services.
Proven project management experience in construction ideally with highrise residential projects.
Minimum 8 years of experience in construction with 5 years in contract management.
IT proficiency (Microsoft Outlook Word Excel).
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead teams drive project success and deliver excellence.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of electrical building services.
Experience working with main contractors.
Familiarity with Procore construction management software.
