Job Description
Required Effective communication skills /ability to build rapport with others. Organizational skills to work in an efficient orderly fashion.
Preferred Previous work experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred but not required. Will consider graduates of a formal Nuclear Medicine Technology Training program with a temporary license.
Required Satisfactory completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRC/ERT) required.
Required Licensure with Department of Public Health to practice Nuclear Medicine in the state of Massachusetts required. Registration or registration eligible* with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for Nuclear Medicine (ARRTN) and or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (CNMBT) required.
Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine within 12 months of hire.
Under the administrative direction of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas procedures and students as assigned.
