Required Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant years of extensive experience into performance testing.
- Proficient in different performance testings like Load Testing Stress Testing Spike Testing Soak Testing and Scalability Testing.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java GroovyPython.
- Experience in defining the KPIs and metrics to measure the performance testing efficiency like response time throughput and error rate.
- Expertise in designing and development of the performance test automation using tools such as Jmeter Gatling Micro Focus Performance Center and K6.
- Analytical skills to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with performance testing processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate performance testing test automation goals and influence decisions.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance scalability and reliability of our software applications through rigorous performance testing and analysis.This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams developing performance test plans coordinating and executing comprehensive performance testing strategies to support the applications within global technology.

What will your essential responsibilities include
- Develop and implement effective performance Test strategies and plans for software projects.
- Define Performance testing scope objectives tools and deliverables and identify test risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Design develop and execute performance test cases and scenarios.
- Conduct load stress endurance and scalability testing.
- Use performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling PerformanceCenter) to simulate user behavior and load.
- Integrate performance tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Monitor application performance in production environments using performance monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic Dynatrace).
- Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks failures and areas for improvement.
- Work with our vendors and delivery teams to provide guidance and support whilst implementing our recommended performance testing tools and best practices.
- Drive forward the test centre of excellence roadmap to deliver performance testing improvements across Global Technology.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing for the testing team.
- Exposure to functional automation tools such Selenium RestAssured etc will be preferred
