Current CNA certificate for Massachusetts andprevious experience preferably in an acute care setting.
Effective customer service orientation and theability to interact with diverse groups of patients staff and providers.
Demonstrated ability to solve basic patientand practice problems using a combination of strong interpersonal andcommunication skills attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
Ability to lift and transport patients usingthe appropriate physical technique in a safe manner for the patient and self.
Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) the Patient CareAssociate (PCA) assists the multidisciplinary health care team in clinicalsupport functions to promote a safe compassionate patient care environment. PCAassists multidisciplinary health care team by assisting patients with dailyliving needs monitoring & reading vital signs drawing blood obtainingEKGs. Must be able to work rotating shifts (day/evening/night)
