Job Description
Phlebotomists service inpatients outpatients nursing homes and other client sites located on and off the NewtonWellesley Hospital campus. Responsibilities may vary depending on the site to which an individual is assigned. Assignments may change based on the needs of NWH customers. Phlebotomists are responsible for sample collection on all patient populations.
High school education. Completion of a phlebotomy course or previous phlebotomy experience is required. Experience in phlebotomy of all age groups preferred. Computer skills and customer service skills required. The ability to work independent of supervision is preferred. Valid drivers license required. Must meet25 wpm typing requirement.
