Under the supervision of the Associate Dean to teach conventional machining CNC machining setup and operations in a related and laboratory atmosphere; and to provide general support and curriculum assistance to learning activities in related subjects in the area of machine tool operations and programming. Related duties include participation in division and department activities and the performance of other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Education:
Start Date: This position supports the Manufacturing Construction and Transportation Pathway and is available to start when needed;primarily looking for candidates who teach classes during week days.
Hours/Location: This inperson position is a .5 FTE and the number of hours worked per week will vary based on course load. Hours and location are based on enrollment and departmental need.
Salary: Beginning in the fall of 2024 the starting hourly wage for all parttime faculty is $40 per course hour of teaching. Parttime faculty are also compensated for an additional 45 minutes of time for each hour of instruction to cover office hours and prep time which is equivalent to $70 per hour. This starting hourly wage of $40 an hour is nonnegotiable unless market conditions dictate otherwise.
