Bachelors Degree in Business IT Healthcare or related required
Must have 5 years related experience including experience with healthcare information systems.
Must have experience in integrating large complex mission critical systems.
Expert knowledge of the workflow and operations across the healthcare enterprise
Experience with HL7 standard and XML data format.
Ability to document and communicate the status interface implementation progress against plans and take corrective action as necessary.
Able to troubleshoot diagnose and accurately document interface problems and their probable causes.

General Overview/Summary
The Integration Coordinator is responsible for identifying designing developing testing implementing managing and supporting integration points between Partners eCare and other solutions that must communicate with the Epic. In this role all existing interfaces and intersystem interoperability must be reevaluated and new interfaces and services implemented to maintain current and future workflows. The goal is to ensure integration standards and data flow between Epic and systems are standard and adhere to PHS policies and procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Performs activities related to defining documenting developing testing and delivering an integration solution for integration of the entity and enterprise applications Epic applications and 3rd party vendor complimentary applications.
Perform thorough data integration and system analysis to understand and assess current connections among/between all impacted applications and entity and enterprise systems.
Document interface findings and requirements as part of the integration blueprint including detailed interface schematics to document data flow transaction volumes frequency and other considerations.
Responsible for the implementation of interfaces across revenue cycle systems clinical systems and application components that will integrate with Epic including all phases of the implementation (discovery design build testing cutover and live).
Research and assess current connections among/between all impacted applications. Work with Epic staff and teams across Partners to install and maintain the necessary points of integration to support future state with Epic. Including various formats of integration such as HL7 XML SOA flat files.
Extend the conceptual design of the overall integration solution by developing the process data and application integration components into a functional design.
Extend the conceptual design of the overall integration solution by incorporating the process data and application integration components into a functional design taking into account the corporate design technical interface requirements and Epic functionality.
Validate that the integration functional designs meet the overall business process integration requirements and are consistent with the Integration Conceptual Design.
Designs the flow and sequencing of events to support an integrated solution with Epic across all functional areas (scheduling registration and revenue management).
Facilitates joint application design sessions with the interfacing application teams to ensure crossteam communication and collaboration.
Develop interface test plans based on functionally design and technical requirements documentation.
Perform interface application testing from test scripts as necessary.
Work with development and entity contacts to deploy and validate the interfaces are working properly.
Provide postimplementation and ongoing interface integration support.
Troubleshoot diagnose and accurately document interface problems and their probable causes and work closely with developers to identify test and implement solutions.
Assist with writing and reviewing interface implementation and support procedures documentation.
Remain flexible and adaptable within a fastpaced environment with rapidly changing requirements.
Provide expertise for decisions related to the design build and testing of interfaces between disparate systems and Partners eCare.
Exhibit sound and accurate decision making and serve as an expert resource for problem solving.
