Job Description
Job Title: Financial Manager
Location: Cape Town South Africa
Industry: Fintech/IT
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning budgeting forecasting and reporting processes.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor cash flow manage financial risks and optimize the companys financial position.
- Develop financial strategies to enhance business performance and drive profitability.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns financial audits and other regulatory filings.
- Oversee financial controls and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of finance professionals fostering a collaborative work environment.
- A relevant qualification in Finance Accounting or a related field (CA(SA) preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a financial management role with a strong background in the fintech/IT industry.
- Proficiency in financial software ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Indepth understanding of financial principles regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership analytical and communication skills.
