Purpose of Position:
Provide Upward Bound Project Director & Counseling Coordinator office support during the Summer Program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Summer Program Assistant provides the Upward Bound program support in maintaining office operations by receiving and distributing communications; maintain supplies and equipment; serves program participants; monitors residential hall during office hours; assists in program services and events
Job Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma
Experience: Experiences with disadvantaged youth from rural areas
Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills; energetic; responsible; creative; knowledge of effective and efficient working processes; ability to work with high school students; maintain confidentiality; effective communication skills; good decisionmaking skills; initiative and strong interpersonal skills.
Wage Rate: $13.00
