GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Working under general supervision of Principal Investigator and in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures conducts a variety of routine experiments where methodologies are clearly established. Calculates transcribes and analyzes data using basic statistics. May perform literature searches under the direction of supervisor.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for collection organization and processing of biologic specimens from animal studies.
2. Assists in the maintenance and organization of mouse colonies.
3. Extract RNA and protein
4. Perform quantitative PCR
5. Additional responsibilities at PIs discretion

QUALIFICATIONS:
The individual must have a Bachelors degree and a background in Biology. The individual must have reasoning and verbal skills.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
The individual must be good at problemsolving. Keeps an accurate clear and uptodata lab notebook.
