Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 teacher seeking a rewarding role in a supportive school environment We are excited to announce a permanent position for a passionate Key Stage 1 (KS1 Teacher at our vibrant primary school in Harrow starting in September 2025.

Role Overview:

As a KS1 Teacher you will play a vital role in delivering excellent educational experiences for children in Key Stage 1 (ages 57. You will have the opportunity to shape young minds create a positive and nurturing classroom environment and contribute to the continued success of the school. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about education has a strong commitment to raising standards and can inspire children to develop a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan deliver and assess engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported

Monitor and track student progress providing regular feedback to both children and parents

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all students

Support the emotional and social development of students promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing

Contribute to the schools wider community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events

    Person Specification:

    Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification

    Experience teaching KS1 (or equivalent) in a primary school setting

    Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment procedures

    A passionate and creative approach to teaching and learning

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children

    A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges
