An innovative Outstanding Girls school in Harrow is seeking a dynamic and wellrounded Science Teacher to join their successful Science department from September on a permanent fulltime basis. This role requires a passionate Science Teacher who can effectively teach Biology Chemistry and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4 within our Outstanding Girls school. The successful Science Teacher will inspire students and foster a love of scientific inquiry.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons covering Biology Chemistry and Physics to Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students understanding of core scientific concepts and practical skills across all three disciplines.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Science (Combined or Separate Sciences).
- Assess and monitor student progress providing comprehensive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and resources.
- Encourage student participation in sciencerelated extracurricular activities within our Outstanding Girls school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science.
- Proven experience in teaching Science (Biology Chemistry Physics) at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Strong subject knowledge across all three science disciplines.
- Excellent communication and practical teaching skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to a range of student abilities within our Outstanding Girls school.
