Job Description

CRM Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Location: Papua New Guinea
Experience: 5 10 Years

Job Summary:
We are seeking a CRM Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong proficiency in business and CRM solutions within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have indepth experience in CRM solution deployment stakeholder management and RFP processes. This position requires someone with solid experience in Salesforce or MS Dynamics 365 as well as the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and recommend vendors. The role also demands strong communication and presentation skills with a focus on ensuring CRM solutions align with business needs and deliver value.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout the CRM project lifecycle.
  • Business Requirement Document (BRD) Writing: Prepare detailed BRDs to capture business needs processes and objectives for CRM solution implementation.
  • Requirement Gathering: Lead the process of gathering and analyzing business requirements from various stakeholders ensuring that all CRM functionalities are aligned with business goals.
  • CRM Solution Deployment: Provide expertise in deploying CRM solutions ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all CRM modules and capabilities to address the business needs of the banking industry.
  • CRM System Knowledge: Have deep knowledge of CRM systems with a focus on Salesforce and MS Dynamics 365 and understand their application in banking operations.
  • RFP Documentation and Issuance: Prepare and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) for CRM vendors ensuring clarity in scope and expectations.
  • Vendor Evaluation and Demos: Coordinate and manage vendor demos assess vendor capabilities and provide feedback on their suitability based on RFP responses.
  • RFP Scoring: Oversee the RFP scoring process to objectively evaluate vendor proposals and ensure the best fit for business requirements.
  • Vendor Recommendations: Make informed recommendations to leadership regarding the selection of CRM vendors based on RFP scoring demos and alignment with business needs.
  • TechnoFunctional Expertise: While primarily a businessfocused role technofunctional expertise will be advantageous to bridge the gap between business and technical teams for effective implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in English for effective communication with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and managing relationships with senior business and technical leaders.
  • Expertise in BRD writing and comprehensive understanding of business requirements gathering.
  • Banking experience with CRM solution deployment including experience across all CRM modules and capabilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce or MS Dynamics 365 is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in preparing and issuing RFPs as well as conducting vendor demos evaluating RFP submissions and providing feedback.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint to create clear visually engaging presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Strong business skills with a focus on delivering CRM solutions that meet business objectives along with preferred technofunctional expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Administration Information Systems or a related field.
  • Salesforce or MS Dynamics 365 certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience working within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience with RFP issuance and vendor management.
