Job Description
Job Title: Ecommerce Manager for Sustainable Bag Brand About Us: We are a fastgrowing sustainable bag brand driven by a culture of positivity adaptability and spiness. Job Overview: We are seeking an Ecommerce Manager who will be responsible for the overall management and performance of our online store. This individual will work closely with our developer to bring our brand vision to life on our website and ensure a smooth seamless experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills strong communication and organizational abilities and the flexibility to adapt and pivot in a fastmoving environment. Key Responsibilities: Brand : Work directly with our developer to translate the brand vision and execute it on our website ensuring that the user experience aligns with our sustainability values and aesthetic. Conversion Optimization: Manage A/B tests track and report on conversion data to drive continuous improvements in our online store. Website Maintenance & Bug Fixes: Monitor the website daily for bugs ensuring any issues are quickly identified and resolved in a timely manner. Product Merchandising: Manage the merchandising of products on the site ensuring they are displayed in a way that is visually appealing and optimized for sales. Promotions & Product Launches: Update the website for seasonal promotions new product launches and other marketing initiatives. Content Management: Swap out imagery and copy on the site seasonally to keep the website fresh and relevant. Landing Page Creation: Build landing pages for paid media testing using the Shopify theme and apps ensuring they are conversionoptimized and aligned with campaign goals. App Management: Manage and troubleshoot the various apps used on the Shopify store ensuring they are functioning optimally and integrated seamlessly with the website. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and organizational abilities ensuring smooth collaboration with crossfunctional teams (especially developers). Familiarity with website analytics tools to track performance and make datadriven decisions. Basic CSS knowledge is preferred for better collaboration with the developer and to make small adjustments to the site as needed. Experience managing ecommerce platforms (Shopify Plus) and understanding of best practices for online merchandising and sales conversion. Desired Qualities & Soft Skills: Efficiency: Ability to act quickly manage priorities and deliver results under tight timelines. Versatility: Ability to pivot and adapt to changing priorities whether it s fixing a bug executing a promotion or collaborating on a new website feature. Flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting deadlines and frequent changes. Initiative & Ownership: Proactively noticing and addressing issues ensuring that all problems big or small are solved with urgency. Collaboration: Working well with crossfunctional teams particularly the development team to implement changes that support the brand s goals.
