Job Description

Position Overview: The Accounts Executive plays a pivotal role in the finance department responsible for managing and overseeing various financial tasks within the organization. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records processing invoices managing accounts payable and receivable and assisting in financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.

2.Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

3.Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collections.

4.Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies.

5.Prepare and submit financial reports including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow statements.

6.Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

7.Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

8.Coordinate with internal teams to resolve financial issues and provide support as needed.

9.Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.

10. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.

11. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.

2.Proven experience 25 years) in a similar role preferably in a corporate environment.

3.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks XeroZoho) and MS Excel.

4.Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

5.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

6.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

7.Good communication and interpersonal skills.

8.Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

9.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

10. Certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
