Job Description:
On behalf of our client we are looking for a talented and experienced Tier 2 to join our clients growing team. The candidates primary responsibility will be to proactively monitor vulnerabilities and compliance using (SCCM BigFix) and performing Patch Remediation as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide customer technical assistance on hardware and software for the USGS user community.
Proactively monitor vulnerabilities and compliance using (SCCM BigFix) and Perform remediation procedures in response to security vulnerability reports.
Ensure the latest approved BIOS and patches are applied to PCs and Laptops.
Ensure that the latest virus scanning software versions and updates are installed and running on all USGS PCs and laptops
Create and maintain baseline computer images in accordance with policy and SOPs.
Deployment of software via Active Directory Group Policy Object (GPO) scripting System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) IBM Endpoint Manager (IEM) or other tools.
Install and manage desktop and laptop operating systems including and up to Windows 10 Professional and Apple OS Catalina.
Mobile support iOS devices (iPhone iPad) and Android devices.
Install upgrade and maintain application software for all USGS equipment following SOPs.
Print and file server configuration changes.
Maintain file share structure and permissions for enduser data.
Job Requirements:
Five To six years of equivalent work experience.
At least six years of related IT experience.
A Certification preferred.
3 years of handson experience with SCCM.
3 years of handson experience managing devices with IBM Bigfix.
3 years of handson experience with Patch Remediation
3 years Performing vulnerability scanning and analysis including detailed reporting analysis.
Excellent understanding of computer hardware operating system functions and components.
Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite(s) including Office365 and Office365 for Mac.
Mac and Windows troubleshooting and configuration skills.
Ability to interact at all levels of management internally and with customers and suppliers.
Excellent reporting customer service interpersonal skills telephone etiquette time and staff management and problemsolving skills.
