Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manufacture quality blow molding machinery auxiliary equipment and sub-assemblies using various tools and equipment while maintaining compliance with OSHA MIOSHA and Company safety standards.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on building equipment ensuring good quality and safe operation.
- Assist in training employees and coordinate with supervisors on scheduling and project assignments.
- Operate power equipment and material handling equipment (forklifts cranes etc.) as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and report any shortages of parts tools or materials.
- Complete daily time accounting payroll information and other required documentation.
- Perform all tasks with minimal supervisory assistance demonstrating proficiency in using precision measuring equipment and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Qualifications :
- Journeyman Electrician Certification with 8 years of related experience
- Proficiency in machine and sub-assembly wiring startup checkout and troubleshooting
- Leadership experience and process knowledge preferred
- Ability to use personal hand tools mainframe computer and work with metric and standard inch systems
