Position Overview
The Accessioning Technician will be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of various types of patient information into databases. This includes assisting accessioning staff with entry of client orders for testing (accessioning) and entry of other pertinent information in databases as requested.
Shift available:
MondayFriday 8:30AM5PM with rotating Saturdays
Essential Duties
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Follow all standard operating procedures specific to assigned department/laboratory which may include but is not limited to the following:
- Receive and open packages of patient specimens for accessioning;
- Accession samples into clinical database;
- Enter/scan all relevant patient/institutional data into database(s) and ensure accuracy.
- Apply strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work designated schedule.
- Ability to work seated for approximately 10 of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 90 of a typical working day.
- Ability to comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and techniques.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and PC workstation.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical school or college coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Salary Range:
$31000.00 $49000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US WI Marshfield on a fulltime basis. In addition this position is bonus eligible and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
