Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Implement enhance and maintain test automation frameworks for Jobvites web and mobile applications
- Develop maintain and execute API and UI automated tests to ensure sufficient test coverage in various areas across the Jobvite application
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to understand product requirements UX design and engineering design to author test plans and implement scalable test automation solutions
- Coordinate various testrelated activities for ensuring ontime project delivery including identifying task dependencies test schedules creation of test data and effective utilization of test environments
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or) equivalent field
- 5 years of quality engineering and/or software development experience
- Quality advocate with a good understanding of QA best practices
- 3 years of handson experience in Java and objectoriented programming methodologies
- Strong background utilizing test frameworks like TestNG/JUnit
- 2 years of handson experience with UI automation using Selenium
- Experience with RESTful web services/API automation
- Experience working with source control systems like SVN Git CVS Perforce
- Understanding of CI/CD and experience working with tools like Jenkins Team City
- Experience with test case management tools like TestRail Zephyr TestLink and bug tracking tools like JIRA Bugzilla
OTHER ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Thrives in a fast paced/changing environment
- Experience collaborating effectively with remote team members
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- White box testing mindset and ability to automate at the right layer in the code stack
- Handson experience with mobile test automation frameworks like Appium
- SCJP/OCPJP certification
