Job Description
The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes tableware glassware pots pans and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods at our pizza and snack bar Little Bettie. Additionally dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe. In order to help ensure all aspects of this position are performed as expected measurable metrics will be provided along with regularly scheduled performance reviews. This position reports to the Kitchen Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete daily weekly and monthly cleaning setup and breakdown tasks as assigned
- Be fully knowledgeable of and adhere to sanitation safety and alcohol beverage control policies
- Use POS System as instructed
- Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
- Be knowledgeable of and comply with operational standards company policies federal/state/local laws and ordinances
- Communicate and embody WISEACRE brand
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in service industry
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Have or obtain ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm demeanor
- Ability to work a flexible schedule working overtime as needed
Physical Demands:
- Stands and/or traverses restaurant floor for long periods of time
- Use repetitive motions
- Lifts up to 60 pounds without assistance
