Job Description

Associated Bank requires you to directly represent yourself and your own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process.

Responsible for effective management of residential loan sales team. Ensure that established policies procedures and compliance requirements are followed. Responsible for hiring training developing coaching Residential Loan Officers. Represent the company at various community functions. Supervise a team of 6 or more residential loan officers and loan officer assistants in multiple locations. Responsible for oversight of the Loan Production Offices. Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying customers needs comprehensively and matching their needs with selections and resources within the colleagues assigned business line and across all business lines of Associated Bank. This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X Part 1026 Truth in Lending Regulation Z.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/AntiMoney Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements obtain a unique identifier and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act.

Job Accountabilities

  • Manage CRA sales efforts daily by establishing clear individual and team goals and coaching staff. Establish goals that are: specific and measurable to include client referral and crossselling by product with a consistent emphasis on the total customer banking relationships. Motivate team to truly deliver great customer experience. Recruit select train develop assign work to and review job performance of sales team.
  • Responsible for effective communication between the loan sales team loan processing team underwriting and mortgage management as well as other Associated Bank business partners.
  • Ensure that residential loan officers make regular business development calls to solicit new business or improve services with (CRA home buyer counseling agencies community organizations) real estate agents and existing customers. Periodically attend meetings of real estate companies (CRA home buyer counseling agencies community organizations) to explain new mortgage programs and qualifications resolve problems discuss current loan changes and so forth. Represent Associated Bank at industry functions and meetings.
  • Uphold the banks philosophy and all policies by maintaining appropriate controls to assure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for the understanding knowledge and management of all required training and compliance issues for the loan sales team
  • Under limited supervision develop and implement plans for achieving sales team goals to include production goals compliance and regulatory measures customer satisfaction expectations and center of influence development.
  • Initiate new business opportunities for the bank through the development of new prospects centers of influence and excellent service of existing client relationships. Actively call on centers of influence.
  • Assume overall administrative responsibility for loan sales team production. Work closely with Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor and loan support staff in the areas of loan pipeline and exception management.
  • Responsible for oversight of Loan Production Offices including staffing maintenance and administrative duties.
  • Manage expenses and within approved guidelines. Make decisions to enhance bank performance and profitability.


Education

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Finance Economics & Real Estate Required


Experience

  • 24 years Mortgage lending in a financial institution and sales management. Home buyer counseling agencies and community organizations with a focus on achieving the Community Reinvestment Act objectives of the financial institution. Required
