About the role
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with emergency procedures and respond to code alarms (ERT).
- First responder to Code Black trained in CPI MAPA.
- Respond to staff security requests and provide support during interventions.
- Coordinate with Police provide reports and maintain CCTV footage.
- Monitor detained patients assist with searches and organize Patient Minder Officers.
- Conduct regular patrols secure doors and respond to perimeter alarms.
- Enforce parking and smoking regulations.
- Perform lone worker checks and ensure staff safety during peak times.
- Escort atrisk patients and staff report security breaches.
Skills & experience
Current SA Security License and Drivers license
Certificate 2 and /or Certificate 3 in Security Operations
Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Excellent observational and surveillance skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Current First Aid Certificate
