Job Title: Diagnostic Clinical Coordinator
Reports To: Director
Status: PartTime

Job Summary:
Clinical coordinator supports Autism Connections and the multidisciplinary Autism Diagnostic Team. Provides administrative and clinical support to the program. Assists diagnostic team with intake records review and performs clinical test scoring and facilitate the multidisciplinary team meeting and diagnostic reports. Responsible for planning coordination and facilitation autism program group activities and support services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares and maintains records and reports for clinic and insurers in accordance with rules and regulations on Electronic Health Record.
- Manages incoming requests for assessmenteligibility insurance coverage paperwork
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Reviews diagnostic results and treatment plans with family and provide written report.
- Supports preparation and patient flow on the clinic day.
- Provide administrative support to diagnostic team members and department
- Provides brief therapeutic interventions and support programming as necessary.
- Facilitator for Autism communitybased group and Sibshop program
- Supervision for group support staff and volunteers.
- Contact with referral community referral sources for group and diagnostic services.
- Participates in required trainings.
- Attend all scheduled team meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:

Qualifications include:
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of DSMV diagnostic criteria
- Eligibility to score A Level test battery
- Minimum 5 years experience with Autism
- Registered Sibshop Facilitator
- Ability to provide culturally competent services that shows sensitivity to the service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Education Certificates Licenses Registrations:
- Masters Degree with training in social work psychology or related subject area preferred. BA/BS Degree in nursing
- Clinical License
- Valid Michigan Drivers License appropriate insurance and use of own vehicle.
Working Conditions:
Position requires interaction with potentially challenging clients ruling out autism spectrum disorder.
Physical requirements:
Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. Must be able to life up to and in excess of 25 pounds throughout the workday. Sit stand and bend lift and move intermittently during working hours
